What apps does Cue work with?

Anywhere you can place a cursor, Cue can place text. Slack, Notion, VS Code, Mail, Chrome, your browser—if it accepts typing, Cue works there.

How accurate is the transcription?

Extremely. We use the best-in-class speech models, combined with strong signal processing and fine-tuned models to handle accents, technical jargon, and fast speech. The result is transcription that feels like it actually understands you.

Is my audio stored anywhere?

No. Cue is built on a privacy-first architecture—nothing leaves your device unless you explicitly allow it. We never store recordings and your audio is never used to train models.

Will it work on my Intel Mac?

Yes. Intel Macs are fully supported with cloud-based models. For the best on-device experience, we recommend Apple Silicon—but cloud transcription works great on any Mac.

Can I change the keyboard shortcut?

Of course. You can set any key as your trigger—Fn, double-tap Command, Option, or whatever feels right in settings.

Does it work without internet?

Yes. Cue supports fully on-device transcription—no internet required. Your audio never has to leave your Mac. Cloud models are also available when you want even higher accuracy, but on-device works beautifully on its own.

What about Windows or Linux?

Cue is macOS-exclusive for now. Windows support is on our roadmap—sign up for updates and we’ll let you know when it’s ready.
