Cue 1.5.12: Meetings Name Themselves Again

Meeting titles and summaries finish even when you are on another page, and recording prompts focus on real calls.

By Cue Team

Meetings were finishing with a time in place of a useful name. Cue 1.5.12 fixes the title generator and makes the after-meeting work run wherever you are in the app.

Finish the meeting, keep working

Cue summarizes, names and exports a meeting after recording ends, even if you have moved to Home or Chat. You no longer need to keep its note open. An open note also shows its new name immediately.

Prompts for real calls

In ask-first mode, Cue now shows a recording card for known meeting apps or a browser call it can verify from the tab or a calendar link. A browser card names the meeting platform, such as Google Meet, instead of just Google Chrome.

Also in this release

  • Ending a recording no longer brings up another meeting prompt seconds later.
  • Speaker numbers no longer skip a number.
  • A failure to identify speakers carries a useful explanation instead of silently disappearing.
