When a call plays through your speakers, its sound also reaches your microphone. Cue 1.5.17 removes that echo so the other side is not transcribed twice.
Echo cancellation for meetings
Echo cancellation is on by default. It removes the copy of the call coming through your microphone while the other side is audible and leaves your voice alone the rest of the time. You can turn it off in Settings › Meetings. Headphones users see no change.
Voices you can name
Name someone in a transcript and Cue keeps their voice print on this Mac. Later meetings can use that name again. A small sparkle marks a name matched from a voice, and you can click to correct it.
A person's note shows how much Cue has heard of their voice and offers Forget. While recording, labels say Microphone and System audio, with numbers when voices can be separated live. Names arrive after Stop, where Cue can identify them.
One Private Mode switch
Turn Private Mode on and dictation and meetings run on-device. Cleanup runs on-device or is skipped, and analytics turns off. Turn it off and your previous settings return. Settings, Home, the footer and the menu bar use the same switch.
